P1110358WELL THEY WORKED ON THE BIKE UNTIL AROUND 2100. BRIAN WANTED TO SEE ME, SO LARRY PHONED N TOLD ME TO GET READY, COS HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO PICK ME UP.

THEY REPLACED LOTS OF STUFF, AS ASKED FOR. THEY EMPTIED AND REMOVED THE TANK SO THEY COULD CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER, LARRY SAID, ‘YES THAT WAS ABOUT TIME COS LOTS O BLACK SLIME CAME OUT OF IT’. ALSO, I HAD NOTICED  THAT THE BIKE WAS  SPLUTTERING A BIT; THEY FOUND A PROBLEM IN THE THROTTLE SYSTEM BUT NEW CABLES  FIXED THAT. ALSO THEY SORTED A TIMING PROBLEM; ONE CYLINDER WAS RUNNING  DRY, NOT ENOUGH OIL SO THE SPARK PLUG WAS GREY, YET ON THE OTHER SIDE IT WAS GETTING TOO MUCH  SO IT WAS BLACK & SOOTY. FIXED NOW. ALL THE OILS WERE CHANGED, AND OF COURSE THE NEW TYRE. IT WAS GONE  2200 BEFORE I GOT BACK TO THE MOTEL.

MY HEAD GOT BURNT WHILE OUT TODAY, FORGOT MY DO-RAG, BUT NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THE SUN COS O THE COLD WIND. THE TOP OF MY HEAD REALLY SORE, BUT NOT GOT ANY ALOE VERA OR AFTER SUN, SO WILL HAVE TO BE CAREFUL OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TO GO FOR A DIP BACK IN THE HOTEL POOL BUT I DON’T HAVE ANY SHORTS
