OOPS – I Missed A Day

Sorry, I just realised I didn’t put the ride from yesterday on the blog.

Rock Springs and, after a good night’s sleep, Jan was up early, bike packed and off to Evanston. A little research while he was sleeping and I found a motel that was convenient, clean and cheap – the reviews were good – and it was only $36 a night compared to $75 in the Super 8 in Rock Springs.

He was still tired so the 104 mile ride west on the interstate was not over-taxing and he was in Evanston by noon. The room was not quite ready but the lady cleaning let him offload the gear and to check there was a good enough wifi signal. There was, so he left the lady to finish the room and went off for some breakfast.
