Sorry I’ve not posted any updates but things went a bit awry.
Jan was sick; he’s recovering now and will soon be on an Amtrak train to friends in Ohio.
A lot of organising to do – the bike is in storage in Cedar City, Utah. I’m in St George, UT and Jan is in Salt Lake City (for a couple of hours more).
I have written one post at least six times but the WordPress mobile app is really not working so I will have to catch up once I am home on Friday.

Thank you again; yes, Jan is on the mend now. He is resting in Toledo and tomorrow he moves to Detroit ready to fly home in one weeks time.
