The longest, most remote, most empty and most absorbing route we ever took. So absorbing, we almost ran out of fuel as we didn’t realise we had taken a wrong turn (and there was only one place to turn on the whole route}; there was only one gas station on the main part of the 257 mile route so we were riding on petrol fumes before we got to Blanding.
