Just had Jan on Skype; exhausted. He has ridden 1,205 miles in 24 hours crossing from halfway across Illinois, all of Iowa, all of Nebraska and right across Wyoming to the border of Utah.

No he has wanted to do that ride for the past couple of years Hans. he wanted to get out west as quickly as possible. He is absolutely knacked now so I will find out more when he recovers consciousness in a few hours – I spose it could be a day actually!
